CECILIA RUBINO | Associate Professor, Theater | Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts

“Sydney is an amazing designer—effervescent, imaginative, and a true joy to collaborate with, particularly in the reimagining of classical works and Shakespeare. Equally resourceful and grounded, she brings both vision and practicality to every project.

What sets Sydney apart is her remarkable ability to make every aspect of a production’s design process accessible and inspiring. She invites students into the creative journey, engaging them to participate meaningfully at every stage of the process and fostering both curiosity and confidence along the way.”
